2300 sq. ft., single story
4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms
VERY Open Floorplan
Disclaimer: The following “before” pictures are from when we first bought the house. As mentioned in our About Us, the house was a short sale that needed a ton of TLC, but it had the bones/floorplan we wanted, so we bought it anyways, figuring we could do most of the work ourselves and get it all up to our standards!!!

Despite looking a bit bare, this room received a major overhaul to become our home gym/P90x room. Check out the details of our custom flooring project, here.
Our home still has lots to be done! A not so exhaustive, but still very lengthy list of a lot of our planned projects can be found here.
Just to give you guys a little background on our goals in our home, here it is:
- No white walls… we love color!
- Create warm, inviting, and happy spaces.
- Make sure our house is “entertaining-friendly” because we have a lot of friends and family to entertain!
- Create a romantic bedroom- romance is the key to every healthy and successful relationship.
- Build on the existing built-in pool and grass area to create a fun, interactive backyard where you can play all day!
Some day I will DIY a floorplan from Floor Planner to make the layout make more sense!

Love the wood and grassy green against that aqua wall in your dining room! So fun and cheerful!
Thanks! We love the natural textures and colors so much.
Can I tell you how much I love your entryway. That front door is amazing. I want one just like it. Do you have a source? Also, those sliding doors are gorgeous. Wow!
yup! The company is ETO doors, based out of LA, but they ship and they have another location (can’t remember where)! They are truly phenomenal though and their product is amazing! Thanks for the sliding door love.
Those were completely MADE by HAND! They were a lot of work, but simple and fun! We absolutely LOVE everything about them and they totally come in handy!
I love how your house crashers room says “progress”!
LOL! Thanks… the rooms just aren’t fully complete! We’re planning to make a bunch of furniture re-arrangements after not too long!
