Nursery Planning
Ok… I may not be a momma, no kiddos yet… I may not even be close to being a momma, have to finish law school first… I may not even be the girl “who dreams of being a momma,” was always more of the career-oriented girl growing up… BUT, man oh man am I totally head over heels for some of the nursery inspiration out in the blogosphere right now! As a DIYer, I just can’t wait for the day that I get to create a fun, stimulating, inspiring, and beautiful nursery for our baby (boy or girl)! While there are a billion beautiful nurseries out there and I could not sooner pick my favorite than I can pick an “exact” style, here are just a few of my favorites (pinned on my Nursery Inspiration Pinterest Board): {source} {source} {source} {source} {source} {source} And here’s a great idea for anyone (like us) with an Ikea Expedit Bookshelf and who may want to repurpose it for a nursery: {source} Thanks so much for humoring me in my little baby planning/decor fantasizing picture-rant! I’m linking up over at Roomspiration on A’ La Mode ! Make sure and head over to check out all the other nursery inspiration out there!!! ~Ashley Also linking up at… Blog this! Meet Our Little Guy… and His Adorable Room!
… scared you guys huh! So, he may not be our little guy, but he is our little nephew, and he is absolutely precious! So, bloggy world… meet Bryden! Born just about a week ago, he is a wee little skinny thing with an absolutely precious face, and just so happens to belong to Eric’s sister, Sarah and her hubby Chris (who we failed to get photos of because we were so excited about the baby! Apparently, excited enough to once again forget our camera and have to rely on really bad cell pics… sorry… again!) Here he is… And here’s his adorable room… … and now for the details! Once again… sorry for the terrible pics, but isn’t he absolutely adorable, and his room too! In fact, his mom and dad happen to be awesome deal-seekers! That awesome name-sign above the bed was a DIY project. The wooden frame with the tractor picture in it was a true DIY done by Chris’s grandpa- he used barnwood from the family’s old dairy barn! How cool is that?!?!? The barn lamp was scored at a thrift store, and only needed a lamp shade. The dresser and crib are solid wood and were scored off Craigslist- and the crib is convertible! And the little basket atop the dresser was a fun little craft project and houses all of his bum’s needs. Hope you all enjoyed meeting “our little guy”… maybe I should add the occasional “house crashing” to our list of changes coming up on our blog… Anyone else LOVIN’ baby rooms even though they don’t have a baby yet?
